As the final semester of my time at The University of The West Indies gears up to start, my best friends and I have decided to undertake the most hardcore, most thrilling project that we have worked on yet.
Sepsis is a life-threatening illness caused by your body’s response to an infection. Your immune system protects you from many illnesses and infections, but it’s also possible for it to go into overdrive in response to an infection.
In preparation for such a gigantic project, I have enrolled in various online courses that would shed some light on Pytorch, RNNs and Neural ODEs.
I was also tasked with completing a CITI course in Research Ethics in order to be credentialed so that I can be able access the eICU Database that contained patients’ data.
I am particularly looking forward to working with our project supervisor, Mr. Inzamam Rahaman because he is described as the Programming GOD.
