This week began with the collection of the related model data. The EICU database was selected on the basis of its extensive scale and the data types given.
This process involved the completion of a course on human research ethics in order to gain access to the data.
A Git repo was created for managing the project and a plan was outlined for the scope of the project.
Time was also spent on learning to use PyTorch, NumPy and Jupyter Notebooks.
